The RJ45 reader port connectors (325-030) are designed to make wiring readers to our control units quick and easy.
During the manufacture of all of our readers, units are checked on automated test equipment to ensure correct operation. An RJ45 plug is fitted to speed up this process and this is left attached to the cable when shipped.
The RJ45 reader port connector is designed to convert the standard reader ports on Switch2 and Net2 control units to accept 1 or 2 RJ45 connections.
Installation – Reader port connector: Pull off the terminal block from the reader port on the control unit and replace it with this connector. Plug in the RJ45 plug from the reader.
